Why do I have a feeling that you'll be hearing the words, "our officers acted appropriately and within department policy?"
I dunno. It seems pretty slam dunk since they turned off my voice recorder and therefore the words of the officer should be tainted but if I do get those words in reply I will seriously consider a lawsuit.

In other words, department policy is legal in North Korea but not the U.S., but you'll have to sue us and find it in a million pages of discovery to confirm the policies even exist.
